Philippine copyright laws shall apply, including Republic Act (R.A.) No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines).

Competition materials submitted by all entrants will become the property of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court shall have the copyright over the works of the teams shortlisted in all stages. This include all economic rights such as the right to display, publish, reproduce the works and the right to control the erection of any building which reproduces the whole or a substantial part of the entrant’s works. The Supreme Court shall have the right to make modifications in the designs, without distorting them in a way prejudicial to the entrant’s reputation.

The shortlisted entrants shall retain the moral rights over their works, including moral rights of attribution and integrity as outlined in the provisions of R.A. No. 8293.

The Supreme Court is under no obligation to use or implement any of the entrants’ works.

The foregoing shall be part of an undertaking that will be signed by all entrants as a prerequisite to their participation in this competition.
